Die veldtog beoog om werk te skep en trots in ‘plaaslik’ te inisieer, deurdat dit Suid-Afrikaanse maatskappye en hulle “tuisgemaakte” produkte en dienste bevorder. Deurdat daar Suid-Afrikaans gekoop word, word daar ʼn verhoogde aanvraag vir plaaslik vervaardigde produkte en dienste, gestimuleer. Dit veroorsaak dat bestaande werksgeleenthede, ekonomiese groei, en die skepping van meer kwaliteit werksgeleenthede in ons land, beskerm word.
