Read the story below and then answer the questions that follow.

Jill, Sam, Ben and Pam are learning about seasons at school. Their teacher,
Mrs Hunt, shows them pictures and they share their ideas. Then she told them
to write about their favourite season.

Jill writes:
In spring it is warm, the leaves and flowers grow and the animals wake up.
The birds return and build nests.

Sam writes:
In summer it is hot and we like to swim and play outside in the sunshine. We
like to drink cold drinks and eat ice cream.

Ben writes:
In autumn it is cooler and the leaves on the trees change to red, yellow and
orange. Then they fall off the trees. The animals get ready for winter. The birds
fly away.

Pam writes:
In winter it is cold, and in some places there is snow. We like to drink hot
drinks and eat warm soup. We make fires to keep warm.
