Every tool is CAPS-aligned and designed for the South African curriculum. ### Revision Notes (`/notes`) CAPS-aligned revision notes broken down topic by topic. Each note section includes worked examples, diagrams, key definitions, and exam tips. Notes are written by educators and reviewed against the official CAPS curriculum and Annual Teaching Plan (ATP). Content is structured with clear headings, step-by-step solutions, and highlighted formulas. ### Past Papers (`/past-papers`) Official Department of Basic Education (DBE) past exam papers with memorandums, available for free download. Coverage includes: - National Senior Certificate (NSC) November papers (2015–present) - NSC Preparatory/Trial papers - June mid-year papers - Provincial papers (Eastern Cape, Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, Limpopo, Mpumalanga, North West, Northern Cape, Free State, Western Cape) - Both question papers and memorandums included - Paper 1 and Paper 2 (where applicable) Guests can download 2 past papers per month for free. Signed-up users get unlimited downloads. ### Quizzes (`/quizzes`) Interactive topic quizzes with exam-style questions and instant feedback. Each quiz contains 10 questions covering a specific curriculum topic. Seven question types are supported: multiple choice, true/false, fill-in-the-blank, numeric input, cloze dropdown, matching pairs, and ordering/sequencing. Every question includes a full worked explanation in CAPS memorandum style. ### Questions by Topic (`/questions-by-topic`) Real past exam questions from official NSC and provincial papers, reorganized by curriculum topic. Students can drill specific weak areas rather than sitting full papers. Each question is paired with its official memorandum and, where useful, a step-by-step worked solution. ### Flashcards (`/flashcards`) Spaced-repetition flashcards covering definitions, formulas, and key concepts for every topic. Cards follow the minimum information principle (one fact per card) and use CAPS cognitive level distribution: approximately 30% Remember/Understand, 40% Apply, and 30% Analyse/Evaluate. Students can study pre-made decks or create their own. --- ## Frequently Asked Questions ### Mathematics (Grade 12) **What topics are covered in Grade 12 Mathematics?** Hlayiso covers all CAPS-aligned topics for Grade 12 Mathematics, including Algebra, Sequences and Series, Functions and Graphs, Finance, Trigonometry, Calculus, Analytical Geometry, Euclidean Geometry, Statistics, Probability, and Counting Principles. **Are the Grade 12 Mathematics past papers official?** Yes.
