Which Grade 12 subjects have the most documents?

History has the most Grade 12 documents (882). Counts are the documents listed on each subject’s library page.

How many memos are there for each question paper?

Across the library there are 70 memos for every 100 question papers (9,168 memos and 13,157 question papers). The grade table shows the same figure per grade.

This compares counts, so it does not mean that a given paper has its memo. Some files hold a question paper and its memo together and are counted as neither, and the IEB does not publish a memo for every paper.

Which languages are covered?

Documents are available in 11 languages: English, Afrikaans, isiNdebele, isiXhosa, isiZulu, Sepedi, Sesotho, Setswana, Siswati, Tshivenda and Xitsonga. Not every paper exists in every language.

How are these numbers counted?

Only published documents are counted, and identical files are counted once. Question papers and memos are counted by document type; combined paper-and-memo files, addenda, study guides and curriculum documents make up the other documents.

The subject table counts documents shown on the subject pages, which leave out documents with conflicting labels or a file that cannot be opened, so it can be lower than a search for the same subject.

The figures are read from the live catalogue and refreshed at least once a day.
