It is spun into fibres which can be coloured and made into wool fabric or used for knitting. Wool is a weak fabric but it does not wrinkle easily. It is comfortable and warm, but expensive. Polyester: Polyester is made from manufactured fibres. The fibre can be woven into fabrics with different colours and patterns. It is a strong fabric that does not wrinkle easily. It can make your body feel hot and clammy. An example of another manufactured fibre is nylon which is made from liquid coal or oil. 5.1) Read the paragraphs again and name the fabric that would be most suitable to wear in summer and explain why. ___Cotton is the fabric that would be most suitable to wear in summer because it is cool and Comfortable. √√________________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________________________(2) 5.2) What property are you looking for in fabric that will be worn in winter? __The property of wool must be warmth and comfort (warm and comfortable)_ √______________ ____________________________________________________________________________(1) 5.3) What are the properties of polyester? ____Polyester is strong and it doesn’t wrinkle easily__√______________________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________________________(1) Question 6: Look at the picture below and answer the following questions.
