Write a letter to your cousin requesting that he/she delivers a speech at this birthday party. [30] 2.2 LETTER TO THE PRESS The roads that learners use to get to school in your area are in a poor condition. Write a letter to the editor of your local newspaper expressing your views about this matter. Suggest ways in which these road conditions could be improved. You are on your way to school to collect your report card, which will determine whether you will be in Grade 11 in 2020. Write a diary entry expressing how you feel BEFORE collecting your report card. [20] 3.2 POSTER A reading club will be launched at your school to motivate learners to read. As part of the organising committee, you have been asked to design a poster for this event. Write the content of the poster that you will design. NOTE: Do NOT include illustrations or drawings. [20] 3.3 DIRECTIONS Your friend, who lives in another city, will be spending the December holidays with you. He/She will be travelling by train to your city and has asked you for directions from the train station to your home. Write the directions that you will give to your friend.
