Introduction ( OAW) oxy –acetylene welding is process using a combustion mixture of acetylene and oxygen for producing gas welding flame. Inspecting the end product • A work piece has to be inspected after the welding process to ensure that the welding has been done correctly and it is of a high enough quality to prevent the part from failing. • Welding is done properly • The is no defect present in the weld Downloaded from hlayiso.com

Drawing and job requirements • After the work piece has been welded the welder has to inspect it very carefully to ensure that all the requirements on the work instruction sheet are met by work piece • The work piece should also measured again to ensure that it has the correct damages and alignment according to the manufacturing drawing Downloaded from hlayiso.com
