He has realised that socio-economic issues in his area impact negatively on business operations. Some informal traders are selling fakes of the products that SSS produces. Recently some machinery and stock of SSS were solen at night when the store was closed. Therefore, before an entrepreneur establishes his company, he needs to examine the characteristics, advantages and disadvantages of each company. This will assist him in making a final decision. Write an essay on the forms of ownership in which you include the following aspects: ● Outline the characteristics of a sole trader. ● Explain the differences between a private company and public company. ● Discuss the advantages of a of a private company. ● Advise entrepreneurs on the disadvantages of a public company. Some people have HIV/Aids, which negatively impacts on businesses. Inclusivity plays a big role in the way businesses are managed. Businesses must ensure that everyone is included in the workplace. Write an essay on socio-economic issues in which you include the following aspects. ● Outline the reasons why socio-economic issues pose a challenge to businesses. ● Discuss the impact of inequality and poverty on businesses. ● Define the term inclusivity and explain the purpose of inclusivity in the workplace. ● Suggest initiatives businesses can take to address HIV/Aids.
